Are you wondering where to buy crystals online and how to know that the place you have picked is appropriate? Maybe you have been interested in crystals for a while and already know the basics, or you are taking your first steps and need some guidance. We are here to help you!
Everything on our beautiful planet has its own vibration and its own energy, including crystals and minerals. When you go to a physical crystal shop, the first step is for you to feel the shop's energy. This will be the deciding factor when entering and exploring the shop in the first place. Then the crystals in this shop usually choose you and once you feel their vibrations you can feel what is the right one for you. But, how does that work online, when you can’t physically feel a crystal’s energy?
For us, it works in a very similar, almost identical way, simply said, it is your instinct.
Let us show you 7 tips on where to buy crystals online and how to choose your next online crystal shop.
Choose the right website, see if the people behind it are genuine.
Your instinct will come into play here on many levels. First, look at the website. Does it feel right and does it feel like the people behind the shop really care about their crystals before they make their way to you?
Unfortunately, there are shops out there that source cheap and sometimes fake (resin, glass, etc) crystals. If you look carefully at their website you might even be able to spot them!
One way is to check if their crystal pictures are ‘stolen from stock and/or royalty-free pictures. You can do a “reverse Google search” and find out.
Do crystals of the same category look exactly the same in every photo or very similar? Crystals like Turqurenite or Carnelian are NEVER the exact same colour/shade even when they are of the highest A/1st grade. This is an alarm because crystals are natural products, like humans, plants, and animals, and they hardly ever look exactly the same.
How do you see if the company cares?
Easy, who is the person behind this website? Is there a personal bio on the website or can you find out on social media if they are ‘real’ people? Are they passionate about it on their social media?
We at Tali & Loz, care that our crystals are ethically sourced and we have taken steps to explain the ways we source our crystals to you and how we only choose to work with suppliers that have an equally strong commitment to ethically sourced crystals. Not all suppliers have that or are willing to place this on their website and send it to the companies that are purchasing from them.
We also go the extra mile to cleanse and recharge the crystals sage and bathe them in moonlight before they come to you. Of course, there are plenty of great shops that don’t do that, and they are still fabulous.

Look at previous reviews from customers

When you buy a crystal you love and have found a place that you trust, you often want to shout it from the rooftops for everyone to learn as well, right? So, head to Facebook or Instagram and see what previous customers had to say about the process of buying crystals from that particular online shop.
So now, you have found the right shop, and they have a lot of crystals, how do you go about picking them? Here are 5 tips for you.
How to choose the right crystals for you online
Intuition is key
When it comes to picking the right crystals for you, it once again comes down to your intuition. If you know what kind of energy you need, i.e something to help with anxiety, search for that keyword on their website and a selection should come up. From there, try to feel which ones are standing out to you. It also helps to read through the description. Does it still feel right, is this what you need? Take your time with choosing and reading, after all you want the right energy coming to you.
Focus on what you need and let the process guide you
If you don’t know what you need, and you feel that you are looking for a needle in a haystack, don’t panic. You can carefully scroll down just looking at the pictures, similar to how you look at crystals in a physical shop. See which one is calling you, which one is standing out to you. Then read through the description, perhaps it feels right, perhaps it doesn’t. If not, have a look for others, perhaps it isn’t the right time for you to choose after all, or ask yourself, why does this crystal call me? If there is a strong pull to this crystal, perhaps unconsciously you have chosen this stone for someone who needs it? You see, the universe always communicates with you even though sometimes it isn’t clear straight away.
Check with your zodiac
See which crystals have a strong match with your zodiac. The majority of
crystals have a strong connection with particular zodiacs and there also some that are neutral. Let’s be clear here, every crystal can resonate with all zodiacs, but some are just stronger than others.
This will also help if you have chosen a lot of crystals but you can’t purchase all of them. Looking at the energy level with your zodiac might give you the extra support and confidence that this is the right choice for you today.

Check your chakras
Do you have a blockage or blockages at particular chakras? This is also a great way of choosing a particular crystal. Some types of crystals have a strong connection with particular chakras. For example, if you feel your crown chakra is in need of some love and you are battling with feelings of isolation and disconnection, then an Amethyst or Golden Healer Quartz may be for you! The right type of crystal can help to unblock, strengthen, realign or soften energies from this particular chakra. Another way is to look at an image of the chakra colours. Your eyes will naturally be drawn to a particular colour and chakra. This is your body and intuition telling you this where you need to focus!
