These rutile inclusions, often referred to as "angel hair," lend Rutilated Quartz its distinctive appearance and metaphysical properties. The name "rutilated" is derived from the Latin word "rutilus," meaning "reddish" or "golden," reflecting the colour of the rutile inclusions.
In the case of Rutilated Quartz, Rutile forms within the Quartz crystal during its growth process. As the Quartz crystal forms within its host rock, small amounts of Titanium Dioxide-rich fluids infiltrate the crystal lattice. These fluids contain dissolved Titanium Ions, which, under the right conditions of temperature and pressure, precipitate out of solution and crystallise as Rutile needles within the Quartz matrix.

Import Duties & Taxes (outside the UK)

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Tali and Loz encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
